So far, JVP has taken over the power in several cooperative societies. Hence, the MPCS system has become an crucial event in JVP’s marketing  strategy.

JVP claims, JVP  cooperative societies are well governing and  it is a proof  for handing over the entire command and control of the country to JVP.

One of the directors of this hotel, Rifa Kader, is from Maligawatta area.Maligawatta is a name associated with the underworld and drug trafficking. Rifa Kader’s mother was a civil servant. But  Rifa  Kader did not  not follow  the mother’s  foot print .

During the young age of  Rifa Kadar,  Sudakaran’s Tamil underworld ruled Maligawatte . As such  Rifa Kader firstly compelled to associate  with  Tamil underworld.

At that time, a Muslim underworld was being forming  against the Tamil underworld. Babar Imitias, a Colombo municipal councilor, gave significant  support to it.. Kudu Noor, Faji, Toji, Anamalu Imitiaz, Manjal Akram, Ayub Khan, Maamasmi, Master Imitiaz were among them.

However, the Colombo municipal councilor Babar Imtias, who helped to build the Muslim underworld, was killed by the Tamil underworld. He was killed by Sudakaran’s shooter in front of Ananda college.

There was a strong suspicion that it was Rifa Kader is the one who accompanied the  Babar Imitiaz to the front of Ananda college . The Muslim underworld who investigated the  case and decided to  cut off  the Rifa Kader’s penis.

In 2017, an underworld member named Riskan was killed by Gotha Asanka’s gang. Riskaan,  was a favorite of Makandure Madhush and Kanjipani of Imran. Meanwhile, Bayiya and Faizer   fled to India.  Rifa Kader is the one who facilitated that journey

Shiran Basik is acquiring properties in Sri Lanka using crores of money earned from drugs.

Recommendation

After the operation launched by Gotabaya Rajapaksa against the Muslim underworld and their drug network, no operation has taken place till now. Gotabaya’s operation took place from 2011 to 2013.

The Criminal Investigation Department of Sri Lanka should arrest Rifa Kader and conduct a proper investigation regarding the above facts

A comprehensive operation should be launched to curb the Muslim underworld and drug network

Not only Rifa Kader but journalists who distort the truth for the drug money of the Muslim underworld should be investigated by the CID as soon as possible .

it is undisputed that University education in Sri Lanka is available for a very limited number of people. Further Competitive global characteristics cannot be seen in Sri Lanka’s education system. Higher education is simply a matter of luck.

Lack of one mark can ruin one’s dream of becoming a doctor. But the situation in other countries is not like that. They can study in any field of their choice. This is what call ”freedom of education” and  is all about.

But according to the radical political parties including JVP, that system otherwise ”freedom of education” is a very dangerous and destructive thing.

They only want “free education” which means cost of free schooling from year 1 to 13  and a very limited number of people get a free degree from government university.

But this is not something that comes for free, it is something that is maintained by public taxes

Nevertheless They don’t want this system to change. But today, almost every country in the world is moving towards freedom of education, not free education.

That means anyone can get an education in any subject area as their choice. Today, education in Sri Lanka has  seriously collapsed due to not changing it according to the new world trends.

Today, not a single university in Sri Lanka is among the best universities in the world. Even tribal African countries have surpassed Sri Lankan universities.

And most of the products that come out  from the free education system are spoiled.
For example, even though the government spends a lot of money to produce graduates in the field of mathematics and science, No one does a new invention whatsoever.

More ever At least they can’t write a new concept paper at the world index level. And as soon as the economic crisis comes, the first  group who prepared to leave the country is so-called intellectuals that  produced by free education.

Those people are not  a group who think about the country, but who think about their survival.

2024 is an election year. But it is not easy to predict the victory of any party. The reason is that the economic crisis mysteriously  controlling  the political behavior of the people. Today many people are hiding their political caste. Only JVP members are  showing its political caste.

JVP makes a serious criticism of the parties those have ruled the country so far. The main reason JVP’s to become so  popular is severe  criticism that put place  on others, and not because they have done  anything for the country.

It is a simple logic that  tax paying ordinary citizens are not responsible for the Sri Lanka’s economic crisis but rulers dose . And the economic crisis is something that is painfully feel by the every citizen.

Hence , JVP’s speeches such as  “That person is a thief , This person is a thief ”are bringing  joy to common people who are frustrated with the economic crisis .

People like to share FB posts made by JVP members accusing politicians. This situation affects the popularity of JVP in social networks.

It is true that people are disappointed with the parties that ruled the country for 75 years. It is true that,  in the context of national leader there is a vacuum.

It is also true that Anura Kumara is popular just because describing issues and criticizing others. But could that be enough of a reason to give royal power to Anura Kumara?

A similar political situation prevailed in Srilanka  during the last kingdom of Kandy . At that time, people were disappointed with the royal bloodline  as well as second in line . There was a big power struggle in the state. The anarchy was painful for the people.

Because of this, there was a strong demand for an alternative leader. At that time, a man named Andare became popular throughout the country for his criticism on  the king. People gathered to hear his stories. People talked from door to door about what he was saying.

No matter how popular he was, the people did not want to make Andare the king. The reason for this is that a matter of statehood needs a validity gained from action. ( Functional legitimacy )

Even though Anura Kumara is popular, people do not consider making him a ruler. The reason is that Anura Kumara is not a person who gained validation through activism, but a person who made speeches and became popular like Andare.

The important factor in governance is not the popularity gained through speeches but the  Functional legitimacy  .

Today, a child in this country completes school education at the age of 20. Further school does not provide professional knowledge or credential.

School education certificate in Sri Lanka is not sufficient at least  to find a laborer job in the foreign labor market. In other words, education in Sri Lanka has not adjusted in accordance with the  global and economic trends.

The situation in foreign countries is not so. Its children complete their schooling with a degree. Further It is not a useless degree such as arts or commerce in Sri Lanka.

The education system of developed countries gives meaning to the saying, “Every person in this world becomes very smart  at some subject”

That is, their school is an institution notching but  that gives professional knowledge and degree in any field that suits with them.

As such they can enter the labor market by the age of 18 after completing  school  with a basic degree.

Facts being so, As of now the value of a practical education system has been felt by the citizen of Sri Lanka.

Schools in this country should be turned into institutions that provide knowledge and basic  degrees in fields such as IT, automobiles, carpentry, masonry, clothing design, food and beverage , tourism etc.

If i say, 43 years ago Government of this country was prepared  to establish such  education system in Srilanka , you will not believe it. But it is true.

Said proposal was presented to the Parliament as the 1981 Education Reform Bill. But JVP opposed it and showed crocodiles in the tea cup.

The JVP incited school students, university students, parents and clergy against  Education Reform Bill   Due to the so-called public  protests  , the education reform proposal did not move forward .

But today everyone understands the importance of changing the education system. Nevertheless taking 43 years  to understand the importance of the  Education Reform Bill  that was rejected then and requesting action on same is not only an  irony of fate but also severe tragedy

After 43 years, emerging a public demand on Ranil’s Education Reform Act,  which was rejected  by the JVP then, shows the true nature of politics in this country.

However, the narrow politics and the  consensuses stupidly of the people shattered the  dreams of our generation. Today, JVP is silent about the said  national crime that they committed.
