The National Alert correspondent met Selvarasa Kirubakaran alias Morris, who was named as the first accused in the Jeyaraj murder, and the second accused, Superintendent of Police Lakshman Coory, at the Magazine prison. They revealed that the assassination of Jeyaraj was a covert mission of nothing but Pillaiyan group
Accordingly, as soon as this writer came out on bail, revealed that there was an inside conspiracy in Jeyaraj’s murder. We brought 3 main points to the attention of the public
1. Non-grant of bail to suspects including Lakshman coory for 13 years
2. On the 1st of Sep, 2022, after the acquittal of Lakshman Kure and others by the Gampaha High Court, instead of releasing them, they were re-imprisoned without any detention order whatsoever.
3. After Lakshman Coory and others were acquitted, a new case was filed on the same night that they conspired to assassinate Mahinda Rajapaksha
After the revelation of the National Alert, Member of Parliament Lakshman Kiriella had a conversation with the writer. Thereby he revealed very crucial information. He said that he closely observed Jeyaraj’s murder from the beginning. The MP Kiriella said that the woman from the Dehiwala area, who sheltered the killers, died suspiciously during police custody. He said that he realized on the same day that Jeyaraj’s murder was an inside conspiracy.
The National Alert further investigated the information provided by MP Kiriella and confirmed that the information is true. A Tamil woman named Raji has been arrested in connection with providing shelter to the suspects in Jeyaraj’s murder and it has been confirmed that she died under suspicious circumstances during police custody.
It was also revealed that the Tamil woman named Raji was a follower of Pillaiyan and an original residence of the eastern province of Sri Lanka
