Sri Lanka’s largest fashion chain  ‘Nolimit’ has expanded its operations to UAE. Yesterday,  on 17 Sep 2022, The ‘Nolimit’ opened its first UAE showroom at Al Ghurair Shopping Mall Dubai.

About 60% of the ready-made clothing market otherwise rerail fashion in the Middle East has been acquired by Indian businessmen. In such a situation, a Sri Lankan entrepreneur starting a business in the UAE is a victorious matter for Sri Lankans.

But it is a worthy to note, The ‘Nolimit’ victory did not receive proper recognition from Sri Lankans. Surely that is because they are Muslims. Since Rajapaksa came to power, Tamil and Muslim people were shown as boogeymen. Sinhalese instigated against the Tamil and  Muslim people. The Rajapaksas played a cheap political game by pretending that they are the saviors of the Sinhalese.

When the Sinhala Hindu New Year is nearby, a covert mission of boycotting Muslim shops was created. Protest against Muslims was maintained as a wave.  ‘NoLimit’  showrooms were set on fire. A wave of throwing rotten eggs at the ‘Nolimt’ customers was launched. All these conspiracies were led by Rajapaksas. Today they have bankrupted the country and they have also become politically bankrupt.

In the Al Ghurair shopping mall, where No Limit started its business, world-class stores such as Aeropostale, Beverly hills polo club, cat, Giordano, koton, max, Splash, forever 21, OVS, R&B, Marks & Spencer are located. Tomorrow onwards Srilankan No Limit’ will compete with international brands. Indeed, ‘No Limit Sri Lanka’ is a pride for the country
