During a Youtube interview held with Keerthi Ratnayake on Life traveler channel, the censoring of the facts he revealed about Club Wasantha has become a controversy now.
Dhananjaya, who led the programe, says that it was YouTube is the one who removed the part about Club Vasantha. But Dhananjaya’s story cannot be accepted.
1.The Youtube never distorts a running video by inserting a music track. Because it is against the International Convention on Intellectual Property (WIPO).
2. Keerthi Ratnayake has previously interviewed senior journalists such as Chamuditha Samarawickrama, Darshana Handungoda and Kalpa.It is worthy to note,very controversial facts have been revealed in those programs. Even people like General Kamal Gunaratne and Shavendra Silva have been accused, Keerthi once revealed that former JVP leader Somawansa Amarasinghe is Thilini Priyamali’s father. But YouTube has never placed music track and distorts those videos.
3. We asked clarity from the three technical officers of prominent YouTube channels about this incident . They confirmed that YouTube does not do such editing. They also confirmed that the Sri Lankan channel owner has made the relevant edits through their online panel.
All above, Dhananjaya Naranbedda had a conversation with Club Vasantha just a week ago. Dhananjaya can be seen whitewashing Club Vasantha, who is a corrupt scoundrel. Civilized people cannot approve of the support given by Dhananjaya to the rogue Club Vasantha in spreading falsehood.
