The other day when the people celebrated unitedly and happily was reported in 1993. Harsha de Silva trickily distorted bond transaction data and same given to Kiley Maharaja. Kiley public the said disinformation to the world by his media network.
Subsequently the President Sirisena appointed a commission to investigate the bond transaction . Judge Prasanna Jayawardena appointed to lead the commission. The conspirators had 3 main objectives
1. Remove Ranil and replace Sajith as Prime Minister
2. Appoint Harsha de Silva as the Finance Minister
3. Appoint Prasanna Jayawardena as Chief Justice
On the last 28th, the court threw the bond case into the dustbin. Further former FM Ravi Karunanayake was acquitted. In 2016, If for some reason, Sajith become Prime Minister instead of Ranil, it was puppet rule beyond Don Juan Darmapala .
It is worth to note, Galle face struggle that emerged in 2022 is an extension of the same conspiracy. Sajith, Harsha de Silva, Sirasa Maharaja were the main participants of that conspiracy. As of now , the deal done by Sajith and Shavendra Silva has been revealed. JVP, which played the role of Hanuma then, continues to play the same today.
