The Mannaram basin is rich in valuable mineral resources such as titanium. According to the agreement with the government, this company has received 170 acres of land in Kavienkudirippu area of Mannar basin.
Pavalanpattankudirippu is an area with a hitherto unexploited titanium deposit. This lands belongs to native Tamils and Muslims of the area . The Indian company is trying to acquire these lands by using unlawful methods.
The people of the area say that the following persons are acting as mercenaries of the Indian company and are facing various threats from them.

2. Sahin Khan – ,Main supporter to Mujahir
3. Retired Navy Officer Admiral Serasinghe – Security Director of the Indian company
Currently, a group of journalists from Colombo are preparing to go to Mannar to investigate this problem. Also, a group of MPs including Member of Parliament Gevindu Kumaratunga are keep eye on the indian invasion.
